Inspired by a glance upward from beneath the surface, this vessel captures the flickering reflections of pool tiles seen underwater. A departure from my usual nature themes, it explores the layered movement of blues against a white flux base. While I expected the glazes to melt and merge, they remained distinct — creating a surprisingly graphic effect that echoes the shifting light and stillness found beneath the water’s surface.
