FAQ

  • What is MLE Ceramic?

MLE Ceramic is the studio practice of Emily Jones, creating handmade ceramic vessels featuring unique, experimental glazes.

  • Where are the ceramics made?

The work is produced in South Wales, United Kingdom.

  • Are the pieces one-of-a-kind?

Yes! each piece is thrown and glazed by myself. Slight variations in glaze and finish are part of the charm.

  • How can I buy?

Browse the SHOP section of the website or get in touch to discuss custom creations and collaborative projects via Email or Instagram

  • Why is there a range of prices?

Prices vary depending on size, complexity, glaze, and form.

  • How long does delivery take?

As soon as you make a purchase, I get wrapping and post within the next 1-3 business days.

  • How is packaging handled?

I currently use recycled materials such as boxes and bubble wrap for packaging, as I’m mindful of reducing waste. Each piece is carefully protected to ensure there is no risk of damage during postage. As soon as funds allow, I plan to transition to fully sustainable and uniform packaging.

  • Can I commission a custom piece?

Yes! custom or collaborative projects are welcome. You can contact me via the Contact page to discuss your idea!

  • Where can I see the work in person?

I’m currently exhibiting in The Mission Gallery until 1st November 2025!

  • How do glaze and colour variations work?

Because the glazes are experimental and handmade, slight runs, drips, or colour shifts may occur. These are smoothed or refined to ensure safe indoor use.
